What is the difference between Class 1 and Class 2 items?

Class 1 items are regular consumer goods. (Clothing, Books, Shoes etc.) These are charged at USD 5.99 per lb via air and USD 2.99 per lb via sea.

Class 2 items are goods which require special handling. These include but are not limited to Electronics, Perfume, Watches. These are charged at USD 8.99 per lb and USD 2.99 per lb.
