How is the chargeable weight of a package computed?

The weight of each package is computed on the basis of actual gross weight or dimensional or volumetric weight, whichever is higher.

The formula for the dimensional weight is as follows:

Whereby "166 cubic inches = 1 pound”, multiply the:

Length x Width x Height divided by 166

The resulting number is the Volume Weight.

If the Volume Weight is higher than the Actual Weight of a package, then the Chargeable Shipping Weight shall be the Volume Weight, or vice versa, as the case may be.

This is automatically computed by the My Shopping Box website whenever a package is received and uploaded to a Subscriber's account.
